Return & Refund Policy

Because all of our products are made to order just for you, we do not accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind, wrong size, or general dislike of the item.

We only replace or refund items that arrive misprinted, damaged, defective, or incorrect.

You have 30 days after receiving your order to contact us about any issue with your item.

To start a claim, email us at info@barelyfunctioning.co with:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear photos of the item and the problem

If we need the item sent back, we’ll provide a return shipping label and instructions. Items sent back to us without first contacting us will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order when it arrives and contact us as soon as possible if:

  • The item is defective or damaged

  • There is a printing error

  • You received the wrong item or size compared to your order confirmation

We’ll review the photos and details and do our best to make it right with a replacement or refund where appropriate.


Print-on-Demand & Non-Returnable Items

Our products are print-on-demand and made to order, which means we don’t hold inventory or resell returned items. For that reason, the following are non-returnable and non-refundable (unless there is a defect or error on our end):

  • Wrong size chosen

  • Change of mind or buyer’s remorse

  • Color appears slightly different than expected due to screen settings

  • Shipping delays outside our control

All sale items and gift cards are also final sale.

If you’re unsure about sizing or have questions before ordering, please reach out — we’re happy to help you get it right the first time.


Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges for size, color, or design changes once an order is placed, as each item is made to order.

If your item arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, we’ll either:

  • Send a replacement of the same item, or

  • Issue a refund, depending on the situation

European Union 14-Day Cooling Off Period

If your order is being shipped into the European Union, you may have the right under local consumer laws to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification.

However, please note that many of our items are made to order, and certain made-to-order or personalized goods may be exempt from this cooling-off period under applicable law.

Where this right does apply, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging, and you’ll need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds

Once we’ve reviewed your claim (and received the item back, if required), we’ll let you know if your refund is approved.

If approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or credit card company may take additional time to process and post the refund.
